Désirée holds a BSc degree in Environmental Sciences where she focused on environmental biology. Her Master focus lays on health, nutrition and environment. As her Minor she chose Environmental, Resource and Food Economics.

She gained working experience at Swiss TPH in Basel, where she did an internship at the department for Epidemiology and Public Health. There she gained experience working with data sets as well as geomapping.

In her free time, Désirée goes hiking and enjoys capturing nature in paintings.
